I thought I posted this already but can't find it in the "authored" section. I want to delete a program I downloaded but it just will not delete! I can't even "quit " it. How do I get rid of it?

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
Not sure how, but ended up with an antivirus on my mac. (trend micro antivirus) is the name. Tried dragging to trash and won't go. Tried finding it in finder, when I did tried to delete from there and its says it can't because its open. I can't see it open, no force quit option..
How do I get rid of this??
Have you tried Apple menu > Force Quit?
It may also help someone provide more information if you reply with the name of the program.

Force quit doesn't get rid of the program or even makes it quit. It is called MegaBackup. I must have downloaded this by mistake because I never wanted it in the first place.
