Deleting photos on iOS 9 & El Capitan

Hey guys,

I'm sure a lot of people must be equally as annoyed with this problem as I am. Running El Capitan on my MacBook and iOS 9 on my 6 Plus, I cannot find any options to delete my photos either after importing them to iPhoto, and Image Capture no longer has a delete function, as far as when connected to an iPhone is concerned. This is very frustrating because the only option I can imagine is manually selecting the 100's of photos on my phone to delete like a caveman.. On my iPhotos app, there is no "Delete After Import" checkbox anywhere, not even in Preferences. C'mon Apple, make my life easier!

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.1, MacBook Pro OS X 10.11
