Press mail button and nothing happens but a white screen then it closes. I can connect to mail accounts on other computers but not phone. I tried resetting network setting and rebooting iPhone and same thing. What is causing this?

you can try a reset hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
If that doesn't work - then delete and reinstall the email account.
have you tried forcing the app to close and then reopening it again? Force an app to close in iOS - Apple Support
would not go into reset mode. I ended up pressing 3 fingers and finally came back.
