im having an issue with transferring my developer membership from on apple ID to another, any insight?

so what happened was i registered my developer enrollment with one apple id, that i no longer had access to the email account associated with it. so to improve security of my apple id, i changed it to an email that i did have access to, and my membership seems to have gotten lost in the meantime, anyone have any suggestions, anything is greatly appreciated:)
