ur22mkII Interface Issue

Hello! I just bought a new Steinberg UR22mkII interface and once I installed all drivers, firmware and software, I went to use it with Logic Pro X (I am using a 2015 MacBook Air) but while the computer itself recognizes the UR22mkII as an input and output source and I can see the sound meter visibly moving in the sound preferences pane, Logic will not get any sound through. Logic Pro X DOES recognize the interface, but if I record I get a flatline track. I can hear my guitar and mic through the interface itself (which I expected) but no sound goes through to Logic. For example, if I run through presets such as distortion or a flanger I won't hear the difference because the sound I am hearing is a clean normal guitar and/or mic sound running through the interface.

Surely the fact that the sound meter moves in the preferences pane but not in Logic means that the issue is in Logic and not in my computer, right?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), null

To me it means you haven't setup LOGIC's audio preferences. And if you have, make sure the channel strip you've selected is set to the correct input. Setup Logic's audio prefs first. Do not use the Computers preferences. I advise leaving the computer sound through the $2 audio chip on the motherboard and using the audio Input and Output from the UR22, at least when using Logic.
