i download d the app for my brother printer and the iPad is not recognising the printer. It keeps telling me no air printer found the printer is HL1210W

While that printer does have wireless capabilities, it does not appear to support AirPrint printing.
Without AirPrint support, iOS devices will not locate nor use it.

Have you opened the app and tried to use it?
YYes I did
My understanding is you have to print using that app, if you try to print through other apps, such as mail, you will get the no AirPrint printers available message.
SO what you are saying if for example I want to print out an email shall i click on print first or go into my app. Sorry I am confuse. I am not all that great. Can you take me through it please . Thank you
I don't use their app, I have an AirPrint model. If you want to print an email I believe you have to be in Brother's app. You can probably get better information on their support site.
