Interested in storage and carrying ideas for the Pencil. Can I use a cap? Maybe from a Bic pen? Is there an easy way to carry it with the iPad Pro and keyboard cover? Since there's no off switch, is there a downside to storing it near the iPad? Or far away? Is it possible to attach something to the Smart Cover to hold the Pencil? Thanks.

That is an absolutely great idea! I think I am going to find one of those and decorate it myself with cute rhinestones and that will be my carrying case!

I got a case for a travelling toothbrush and put some gauze in the top and bottom of the cap and it works fine. It stays in place and no rattle.

I bought the indigo case so I could find it easily. In it I store the pencil, charging cable, adapter, and another protector. It is very well made and will survive the backpack jungle. Highly recommend it and bought on for my sister.
That seems risky to plug it into the lightening port. That would be an expensive fix if it damaged the port.
