Q: how can i restore forget a bluetooth device?

how can i restore forget a bluetooth device?  I have bluetooth earphones and pressed forget device on my iPhone in error.  How can I reestablish a connection?

iPhone 4S, iOS 9.1

    After reviewing your post, It sounds like you forgot a device and you want to add it back. I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help troubleshoot the issue. 

     

    Set up and use third-party Bluetooth accessories - Apple Support

    1. Follow the instructions that came with your Bluetooth accessory or car stereo to place it in discovery or pair mode. If you aren’t sure how to do this, contact the manufacturer.
    2. On your iOS device, tap Settings > Bluetooth. You’ll see nearby Bluetooth accessories that your device can pair with. 
    3. Choose a Bluetooth accessory. You might need to enter the PIN or passkey. If you aren’t sure what your PIN or passkey is, check the documentation for your accessory.
