I have an older macbook and the internet told me to upgrade safari to 8.0.6 I did now safari will not run because my operating system is 10.7.5 and can not run that version of safari now all I want to do is get back my old version of safari. how do I

I have an older macbook and the internet suggested I upgrade my safari to 8.0.6 I did now my operating system can not run that version of safari. all I want to do is get back to my old version of safari so my operating system will run it. how can I do this?

MacBook (13-inch Late 2006), iOS 7.0.5

Hi. Using a time machine backup is the easiest way. If you do not have a time machine backup, you will need an internet connection to download safari from apple support downloads safari. The only version I could get was for snow leopard but it should work. You would also need to download pacifist.
