Nov 21, 2015 9:11 AM in response to Utkarsh.shriby lllaass,To AirDrop between an IOS device and a Mac you need the following which you do not meet:
What you need
To share content with AirDrop, both people need one of these devices using iOS 7 or later, or a Mac with OS X Yosemite or later:
- iPhone 5 or later
- iPad Pro
- iPad (4th generation) or later
- iPad mini or later
- iPod touch (5th generation) or later
If you're sending to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
- Your Mac needs to be a 2012 or newer model with OS X Yosemite or later.
- The iOS device must have Personal Hotspot turned off in Settings > Cellular.
