Howdy mitshabbi,

It sou ids like your iPad is having issues staying connected to your home Wi-Fi connection. I would start by forgetting the Wi-Fi network:

Go to Settings > Wi-Fi...

Tap User uploaded file next to a network you’ve joined before, then tap Forget this Network.

From: Connect to Wi-Fi

http://help.apple.com/iphone/9/#/iph1b489c85f

Test out the wifi connection again after that. If it persists then use these 2 steps from the following article:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204051

Restart.

For more help, try restarting your device, router, or cable/DSL modem. After each step, check to see if you fixed the issue.
Restart your iOS device.
• Unplug your router and plug it back in.
• Unplug your cable or DSL modem and plug it back in.

Still can’t connect?

Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
