Windows 10 - the install and removal has destroyed my iTunes. Anything special I need to do before I uninstall & reinstall iTunes on my computer?

Hi HAPPYBEANCOUNTER,

Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

If you need to reinstall iTunes, you may want to back up your current iTunes library to an external drive (if it doesn't already reside on one). See "Copy the iTunes folder to your external drive" in Back up your iTunes library by copying it to an external drive.

Also, if the iTunes application opens but you don't see your content, first try the steps in If you don't see your content after you update iTunes.

When it comes to uninstalling and reinstalling the software, you can refer to the steps from the Support site in Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later.

Cheers.
