aperture 3.6

In Aperture 3.6, when i am viewing the pictures and enlarge them for closer inspection, the entire photo is whitened. Will this affect the printing of the photo, when I sent it to have Christmas cards? In other words, do I need to darken the picture before sending or leave the lighter enlargement alone.

Thanks

the entire photo is whitened.

Do you have "On Screen Proofing" enabled in the View menu? Disable it or change the Proofing profile.

Onscreen proofing seems to make the photos to appear to pale and unsaturated in El Capitan.
