Q: Caldigit FASTA-6GU3 El Capitan Support

I recently acquired a Mac Pro 3,1 with an EVGA Geforce 570 (I also have the original card, and the prior owner said he had to modify the card to work with OS X) and a Caldigit USB3/eSATA card (here's a link: http://www.caldigit.com/fasta-6gu3/ ). I went to the website and downloaded then installed the drivers, not realizing the drivers were for 10.9. After it restarted, the card worked. Then I upgraded to El Capitan and got a kernel panic upon completion. I saw that under "Kernel Extensions" some Caldigit kexts were listed, so I reinstalled El Capitan since the only thing I had on that Mac Pro were some settings that I can recover with Time Machine. So the reason I am posting this is that I was wondering if it is possible to get the Caldigit card running under El Capitan. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11), Mac Pro 3,1

Unfortunately it looks like we are out of luck :-(

    From the CalDigit site:

    FASTA-6GU3: 2-Port eSATA 6G & 2-Port USB3 PCI-E Adapter

Mac Driver does NOT support 10.10 and 10.11. If you have these OSX versions installed, please upgrade your card to FASTA-6GU3 Pro.
