Motion 5 transitions and FCE
Can a transition created in Motion 5 be used in Final Cut Express? Is so, how does FCE recognize the transition? Thanks.

Final Cut transitions from Motion 5 are not backwards compatible with Final Cut Express, they will only show up in FCPX. You could import two clips into Motion to build a transition, but it would have to be exported as a movie file and then imported into Final Cut Express.
