Is there a way to make the monitor sleep in lid open condition while using a secondary display

Hi,

I have a macbook unibody 13". I have connected it to a LED TV.

Now with the lid opened, i need to view only the TV, leaving the macbook monitor off.

I don't have an external keyboard or mouse.

Hi,

Thanks for your note.

With the lid closed its not possible to use the keyboard and trackpad. Otherwise need to have external keyboard or mouse to do the controls.

I have worked with windows operating system which has an option to switch ON only one display and found it useful.

Just wanted to check if there is a similar option with OS X.
