Q: iMessage does not load messages from server
i loaded new software Facebook messenger and Iand apple imessage stopped working. It displays number of messages but does not display actual message. When I try to select anything the app crashes running latest iOS 9.x and updated IMessage to latestCanada

After reviewing your post, It sounds like after you installed an app, iMessage is not opening. Do you still receive message notifications for new messages? I would recommend you read these articles, they may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.
