Sunday Times Won't Download on iPad 1 ?

Hi,

I subscribed to the Sunday Times via the app store, and am trying to read it on my iPad 1 (ios 5.1.1).

It starts OK and goes to the login screen, where I click "already an existing app store subscriber".

It asks for my Apple ID password, then gives me the 'waiting' icon - rotating lines, and does nothing else.

I have left it in this state for 1hr with a fast (1.5mbyte/sec) connection, still nothing.

Can you help ? (pls note I cannot use later iPad with camera as am in secure zone cameras prohibited)
