I'm have trouble closing the one note app on macbook air, I've tied to reset it but it won't let me. Ive tried double clicking the app and closing it that way but nothing seems to work. Any idea will be more than appreciated, thanks.
Try a right click on the Dock icon and choose force quit. If that doesn't work you can run Activity Monitor, search for the app to filter the result an then do a force quit from there using the X button on the top left.
Click on the Apple logo on the left side of the menu bar. Choose "Force Quit ..." from the dropdown. Then find that app and select it to be force quit.
morrispe's response above indicates a "Force Quit" option appears when right clicking on the dock icon. Actually, only a "quit" option appears.
my mac won't let me exit the app I'm using, any idea how to fix it.
