I'll often look at my status bar to see that my MBP mid-2013 will be paired to seemingly random, unknown devices that I did not authorize. I attend a university with a high student density, and so there are usually a lot of devices in range. However, I get no notifications for a pairing request, and am certain that I have never connected to any of these devices in the past. I disconnect, and after a few minutes I find that I am again connected to another computer, for example. I've attached a screenshot - you can see that in this case I was connected to Mikhail's MacBook Pro. I do not know this person, have never interacted with their device previously, and yet my machine sees it fit to offer itself to the public like a digital red-light worker. What is going on, and how do I secure my device?
