Why will my sms/iMessages not show up on my iPad from my iPhone using IOS 9.1

I have an IPhone 6S plus using IOS 9.1 and I can't retrieve my photos nor iMessages/SMS text messages on the ipad once I've logged into iCloud and iTunes

iPad 2, iOS 9.1, iPhone 6S Plus
