I went to apple recently because my phone was giving trouble and they replaced it with a new Iphone 5c. I was wondering that if it's unlocked or not? I bought the original off my telephone carrier therefore, it was locked.

In this situation the SIM card form the carrier can lock the phone to that carrier but you can always call Apple Care and double check to see if it is locked or not.
