I put a micro sd chip and cannot remove it now.

I also wanted to know if ddxc chips would. I found a good deal for 128 gig one. I have a macbook pro retina 15 inch

The slot is for SD cards not mini SD or micro SD cards.

The slot on all Retina MacBook Pros is compatible with Secure Digital (SDXC) cards.

I might have worded it wrong. It's a little drive I bought with a 8 gig chip. it fit perfect. and it works well. I just want to buy a bigger one and can't remove it fro the slot now

So it is a USB drive in the USB port? Or something in the SD card slot?
