    Hello James,

I understand that you are getting a prompt to authorize iTunes when trying to sync an app. Let's see if we can get it sorted out.

Now I know that the article below related to playing back content in iTunes, but is helpful with these types of issues. Start there and make sure that you have your account authorized with iTunes. Also keep in mind that if you are getting this prompt, you might have another account that needs to be authorized that might use your computer and uses your iTunes account.

If iTunes repeatedly prompts you to authorize your computer

Let me know is this helps.

    Take care

    Hi James.

It can be something related to the device you're using or something related to the library of iTunes.

Besides following the article you can

    - test in other user on your PC or Mac (I don't really know which one you're using). When doing this, drag some music from a folder into iTunes' brand new library and sync (this worked for me).

    - try syncing other device if you have one. This can rule out any issue to your iPhone. If other device works fine, it can be necessary to update in recovery mode or restore your iPhone. Always keep in mind to have a backup in iTunes or iCloud.

    My best regards.
