with the "new" apple mail my send icon has disappeared. it does not even show when i go to "customize toolbar." any ideas as to how to "find," "retrieve" or create one?
(As an aside, I often wish Apple would stop "improving" things, e.g., removing "mail" from the list of communities and listing communities in more or less random order, partially alphabetized)

Apologies if I'm stating the obvious, but I am assuming you mean that no "send" icon appears when composing a message?
It will not appear except in the appropriate context, in other words while composing, replying or forwarding.
