will keywords attached to aperture photos be transferred to capture one pro

I'm about to scan alot of my old b&w negatives etc. and I'll be adding dates. locations etc. to each. I'll also be eventually looking to transfer all this to a new program once aperture is no longer working etc. Maybe to capture one pro. Does anybody know if that info will be transferred with the photos and be usable fot keyword search?

Thanks,

John

You can write the captions, titles, keywords to the original image files using the command "Metadata > Write IPTC to original files".

The places information will be written as EXIF tags to versions.
