I started to upgrade the newest software for my Ipad and it died now the screen shows a cable with an ITunes logo above the cable. I tried resetting by holding the home button and the sleep/screen on button but the same iTunes logo screen appears

Turn ipad off
Connect lead to USB on your PC make sure its running the latest itunes 12.3
Press & hold power button on iPad DONT let go
Connect lead to ipad keep power button pressed down until PC sees ipad.
Wait for restore you may need to do this more than once before it works .
