Cant turn on, wont connect to computer

My Ipod wont turn on no matter what i do, which means I cant reset it. When I try to connect to the computer, theres no reaction from the computer or the ipod. The battery was fully charged, then something happened, and now it is in this condition.

you said you tried a rest? you PUSHED AND HELD the menu button and the middle button AT THE SAME TIME for 10 seconds? It may take a few trys and it works best if hooked to power.

Yes i did. None of the buttons have any effect, and when i plug it in to power, there is no display on the ipod screen.
