Q: Does listening to music from the watch using bluetooth earphones drain the battery?

I just picked up a pair of Plantronics Backbeat Go 2 bluetooth earphones and paired them with my Apple Watch. In the three days I've used the watch/earphones combo to listen to music while working out, I've noticed a huge hit on my Apple Watch battery life. In fact, I reached 10 percent battery life one evening for the first time since I've owned my watch. Anyone else notice anything similar, or have any advice for mitigating the battery drain? Thanks in advance!

    Hi

In tests, Apple achieved 18 hours of battery life based on the following usage: 90 time checks, 90 notifications, 45 minutes of app use, and a 30-minute workout with music playback from Apple Watch via Bluetooth. Testing also achieved 6.5 hours of continuous music playback (playing music from Apple Watch via Bluetooth).

Options for preserving battery life include:

    - Enable Power Saving Mode to disable the heart rate sensor during workouts (on your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Workout > turn on Power Saving Mode).

    - Use a Bluetooth chest strap instead of the built-in heart rate sensor.
