Q: I have video clips in Photos but I can't transfer them to Imovie. How to do it Also photobooth which I don't use stops me importing photos into Imovie .Can I delete it?

    "I have video clips in Photos but I can't transfer them to Imovie."  What happens when you try?  If the Photos library doesn't show it may be because you have no designated it as your system library.  See: Designate a System Photo Library in Photos - Apple Support

     

    "photobooth which I don't use stops me importing photos into Imovie".  How does it stop you?

    Geoff, Thank you. Still no joy! I followed the proceed to designate a system photo library but I only one option appeared under photos library and the box' Use as System Photo Library' did not appear. I did get a long list of all my photos but this is what I usually receive.I hesitated to set up an alternative library because i was not sure that it would solve the problem. When I returned to Imovie and clicked on the camera icon I just got photobooth as the only option and this was empty.

    What version of iMovie are you using?
