Migration unexpectedly quit.

I'm trying to use migration assistance to restore data from TM after fresh install of El Capitan. when the migration done migrating over 1000 items, I get a message "Migration enexpectedly quit."

I'm really stuck and spent so much time on this problem. Any help will be highly appreciated.
