iPod Nano 7th generation keeps turning on and off uncontrollably

My ipod nano 7th gen keeps turning on and off. It happened when i wanted to sync it after a long time. After syncing and disconnecting it kept restarting until i managed to restore it via itunes but after adding music it does it again. I think last snc i did on Yosemite and i hope this is solvable.....Help please

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

I just found out how to fix it. So basically recovering the ipod through iTunes won't do the trick. I used disk utility to erase it couple of times (MAC Os Journaled) and then i recovered the software via itunes and voila problem fixed.

Hope this helps even though i just spoke to myself 🙂
