when I go in my sent mail folder many of the "Froms" are missing it is just a blank
so when you search by email address it does not see these, why is this happening? how to do I stop it in the future
and fix what is already done? just started happening the last couple of weeks

Mail in your Sent folder is from you.
no that is not the case these are from other people that I have put in my sent folder....

The Sent folder is for mail you send.
sometimes I receive an email I want to save for a period of time and I just move to my sent folder have been using apple mail for
at least 8 years and never had problem until 11/4 when this just randomly started to happen below is a screen shot of what is happening
what has changed in mail to cause this or how do I fix, I am not doing anything different than I have always done
You're not showing the 'From' column, click on the header for the 'To' column and change it to 'From'
I apologize I miss spoke it is the first column TO that has the blanks.....it is not From....I can scroll thru my email going back 2 years
and there are no blanks before 11/4 why is the TO field not filling it...if you open the actual email you can see the To

Just tell me what you want simply and clearly, you asked for 'From', I told you how to show it, I no longer have any idea of what you actually want.
