Keychain login cannot be found to store

I keep getting a "keychain login cannot be found to store . . ." error message. I have used keychain repair, but the problem keeps coming back. Any ideas?

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

I updated to El Capitan, and so far I am not experiencing the problem.
