Display PowerPoint slideshow black screen

I was able to display a PowerPoint slideshow when I first tested but now it goes black and will not display the Slides. I can see PowerPoint in edit mode fine, just when I start the slideshow it goes Black and can not get it to display at all now. Any ideas on what could have gone wrong to cause it to stop working ... tried on two different displays (different networks and locations) with same results.
