Q: why are there only 100 song titles listed now per artisit?

The limit of 100 is only when you do a search using the search oval.  If you click on an artist's name, and then "See All," you will get the longer list.  For example, for Sonic Youth you get 478 songs:

By the way, there is still a limit, namely 2000, that you may hit with a really prolific artist.  But it is way better than 100.
