My new apple tv requires me to "sign-in" with my full password overtime i watch a movie of tv show previously purchased thru iTunes. I have got to settings and set it to never required a password and reset the TV to no avail. Any tips?

If you have restrictions enabled, turn them off and restart the Apple TV. If this doesn’t help you may have to reset all settings. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.
I did have the passcode set, but it was only a number combination. I turned off all restrictions and reset the Apple TV. It no longer requires the passcode but still requires the full iTunes password for every movie. I have two other Apple TVs they are both third generation and neither of them require the iTunes password for every movie.
What steps did you take to reset.
You are right I restarted my Apple TV not restored it once I restored the problems fixed.
