Q: Boot Camp Troubleshooting

I'm running a 2013 MBP running a boot camp partition. When I installed bootcamp, I underestimated the actual sizing required to run windows with more than one program, and today I tried to increase the partition, and that's why I'm here. I ran the disk utility and made an empty partition of 20Gbs but when i tried to switch back to windows, nothing appears when I do the restart-hold alt/option thing. I restarted back into mac and opened the disk utility again, and I have no idea what is wrong right now. The only thing suspicious that I found that the Owners tab when I select BOOTCAMP says Owners: Disabled, but the Macintosh HD tab says Enabled. Anything at all would be appreciated because as of now I can't run my windows partition. Thanks for reading

(sorry) In addition, when I went into the default startup disk in my settings and selected windows, then restarted, said "No Bootable Device-- Insert boot disk and press any key"

Thanks for clearing that up, but I still have the question of why I can't see my windows partition when I'm booting my mac.

Hi. When you created the free space you ether created it between the two operating systems or it cut into the windows operating system. You will have redo it giving it the space you want.https://support.apple.com/kb/PH17861?locale=en_US You will then need bootcamp to reinstall windows. Any extra free space you want has to come after the windows partition.

By resizing either OS, on older Macs with legacy OS (W7/W8), you have broken the link between the GPT and MBR. Please see El Capitan has deleted my bootcamp windows partition as an example, Download and install Testdisk and GPT Fdisk and start a Testdisk scan as described in the link.
