ipad pro will not power on

same here; it started doing this about a week ago, also running 10.3.3. ipad starts and turns off after about 30s of running. Sometimes when it comes up, it shows the battery low icon and claims the battery is empty when in fact in was charged overnight. After a few attempts, it finally stays up.

I already tried everything it won’t power on... even Apple fix this ****** bug how is my iPad gonna get that fix? It’s not turning on... it happened as soon as I updated to latest 11.3. Some how I was able to get it turned on. But now nothing is happening

So I am not the only one! I own 6 iPad pro 9.7" units. 2 of the units died within the same week. These were both purchased at the same time. One unit had a random issue where it will power off, but still has a full charge. Installing the latest iOS beta (I am an iOS developer) helped that one not power off as often.

The other unit as you described at first would power off or reboot, and I was able to restore to the 11.2 image, but now no matter what it will not power on.

I Have the same problem...got the new iPad yesterday, everything was fine, left it charging overnight and now it's just dead, and won't turn on.

It's a known issue with the iPad Pro. Performing a device restart will revive the unit until it gets charged to 100%, then the same symptom will occur.

Force Restart (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button

2. Press and hold the Home button

3. Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off, then back on displaying the Apple logo.

my unit is fully charged though. what is the exact issue here really?

I contacted Apple support through chat, and found out how to power the iPad pro on...hold down the power button and the home button until the apple logo appears.

What else can I do if my iPad's battery is completely drained and holding Sleep/wake button + Home button procedure doesn't work?

My ipad pro has the same problem as yours always. I just brought this one as brandnew last week, nov 16,2016. The battery has being drained and no matter what i do, it won't responded to any restart i made. The unit is also not responsive to whatever troubleshooting i made. It wont charge as well. I tried all of the alternatives to charge but there's no improvement. Still the same. What would i do to solve this problem? Thank you

Have you tried holding both buttons while the iPad is plugged in to charge?

When I experienced this problem...I pressed the power button & the home button at the same time & then my Pro turned on !!

iPadPro 10.5 w/ smart cover. It takes 2 or 3 tries holding both buttons to get it to start. Started happening more frequently with 10.3.3.

What the **** is going on with Apple? I cannot believe the problems they are causing for me and all users! I am just about ready to switch to Samsung!!!!!
