Open the Messages application on your Mac, then in the menu bar, open Preferences, then select Accounts. Sign out of iMessage.

Hi,

Alternatively Sign Out of the Apple ID on the iPhone in Settings > Messages > Send and Receive.

However this will limit you to your iPhone Number only.
