Left or right arrow key on built in keyboard
The iPhone has it in ios 9. How can we get it on the iPad?
Mac Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), Also Mavericks

On iPad with the latest iOS 9.1, you can use 2 fingers wipe on the keyboard to control the insertion caret. It's more powerful that the arrows keys.
Otherwise send you feedback to Apple here:
I hate these swipes. Give me arrow keys any day. So again why on the iPhone and not the iPad? Makes no sense.
Why? Only Apple knows.
Send feedback to make your wishes known.
BTW, I like the swipe because I can also go up or down instead of just left & right.
Have you never find some mistake(s) or change a phrase after you have written a few sentences?
What is wrong with the two finger single tap and move your fingers around the whole keyboard area to have unlimited control of where you can put the text cursor?
Turns the entire keyboard area into a gigantic trackpad!
I type using the two finger hunt and peck method.
So my fingers always lift up from the keyboard.
If I just take one of my hands and put a second finger down of the keyboard, it will go right into trackpad mode.
To each is own, I guess.
This is a LOT better method than what came before this in previous iOS versions!
Also I use a stylus. So to use 2 finger swipes I have to put the stylus down, swipe with two fingers, and then pick up the stylus. This is silly. That is another reason why I want the arrow keys. I just do not understand why they are implemented on iPhones but not on iPads. Are there any third party software keyboards with arrow keys? If not this seems like an opportunity for someone.
Well you have to move your fingers from the keyboard. If two finger move is so great why did apple put arrow keys on the iPhone? I guess it is better than what used to be.
