iTunes being slow on El Capitan

I am having a problem with iTunes Radio on my Macbook Pro. I did not have this problem on Yosemite. The problem is, when I try to search for a new station or even look at my previous stations, it freezes. Not the Macbook, but iTunes. It will show a spinning wheel and will not respond. I will then have to force quit iTunes to use it again. So for now I'm pretty much stuck on my most used stations. Any ways I can fix this?
