How to store iphone photos and videos to time capsule directly through wi-fi?

Hello everyone!

I've bought the Time Capsule with the goal of having a backup copy of the Apple wi-fi devices, namely macbooks and iphone. But I'm not finding that there's a a way of passing photos and videos to the TC other way than through iTunes, hence, indirectly.

Besides being annoying, it makes me think that I can't use it as an external HD, and it might erase the first photos when sinching.

The idea of the having the TC is to use it to unload the photos and videos when it reaches the full phone's capacity.

Is there a way it can be done without using the machine, and making sure we don't lose the photos that are already there?
