Can two iPhones be linked together without one person knowing?

MY boyfriends iphone4 is being "hosted" ...he thinks that I have some how linked our two phones together through either bluetooth sharing or as technical as a web hosting page. I'm pretty tech savvy but I'm no where close to knowing how to hack anything... I don't even turn on iCloud, find my iPhone ext..

Hes been through my whole phone looking foray of his content...which there never is.. How do I prove to him that our phones are not connected let alone I had anything to do with what's going on with his phone?

PLease help!

iPhone 4, iOS 7

You can't prove a negative. You can't prove that you didn't do it if it never happened. If you had his Apple ID, his email passcodes and had unsupervised physical access to his phone, you could do a lot. If you do know those, there's really no way to prove that you didn't use them to do what he thinks you did. If you don't know that information, how do you prove you don't know it? You can't.

This is, unfortunately, not a technical problem. But, for what it's worth, there's no way to link two iPhones by BT in such a way that you know what the other one is doing. I have know idea what he's talking about when he says his phone is being "hosted". "Hosting" is what you do with websites or exchange students. It has nothing to do with phones. Where technology is concerned, you're boyfriend's clueless, but, telling him that isn't really going to help, either.

I understand you're upset at being accused of something you didn't do. It must be extremely frustrating. You didn't ask but, in my opinion, any man who accuses you of spying on him, who thinks it's okay to go through your phone looking for evidence, is not a man you should be planning on spending much time with in the future.

I think he's using that as an excuse to look through your phone, but I have no idea!

If he's confident that his phone is being "hosted" have him restore his phone to factory settings, and not from a backup, to fully ensure that there's nothing tying your phone to his.

I Have nothing to hide from him, so thats not the issue...plus this is not only the second time this has happened, but a second iPhone as well... So we've been down that road...he uses craigslist a lot and I think that's where it's coming from, but there's no way to prove it..

I know it sounds crappy to even be going through this, but I have to prove to him some how some way it's not me or my phone...

The issue is that he doesn't trust you. Until that's resolved, it won't matter what you tell him, what technical explanation you give him. He won't believe you.

And you should turn on Find My iPhone.

I Understand its childish compeletly! And I'll deal with all that later on...my biggest thing is I don't like being accused of something I know I didn't do with not being able to prove it on top! I just need to know if this is even possible To do to someone's phone...
