How do you navigate to the last cell with a value using Microsoft Excel on a Macbook Pro?

The control down arrow on my Mac causes the window to shrink. It does not move the active cell to the end of the column. This is really causing problems with my Excel class work, because our instructor isn't a Mac person. Also, where is Home or End on a Mac keyboard?
