I have a iPhone 6s and when I touch the icons on home screen it does nothing for about 10 to 15 seconds before it responds and opens up the icon has anyone any ideas

I Have an iPhone 6s . When I press on an app on home screen it doesn't do anything for about 15 to 20 seconds then sometimes opens up and sometimes do open at all and I have to keep pressing does anyone else have this problem and any solutions

If you are having issues with your iPhone delaying for a long time when you try to launch an app from the home screen, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.

First, quit all running applications and test again -

Force an app to close in iOS

Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
