transfer

I need to transfer my iTunes from a old computer. The old one has Vista and the new one Windows 8. The CD burner in the old one does not work. How can I transfer it? Do I need to buy a external hard drive? A flash drive? Is there a "cloud" that is available? I am at a real lost on what to do!!! The old one is about to die and really don't what to lose the iTunes!! Thanks for any help.
