how do i assign which pad makes what sound on my electric drums?

so i've got my Roland TD-4 plugged in through midi. the program is recognizing it and everything is working fine except my cymbals and high hat. only the bell (middle) of the cymbals are making sound. i want the edge of my cymbals and high hat to be set to what the middle of the pad is set to. how do i do this? thanks 😀
