Tethering iPhone 6s to a mac for internet
It says bluetooth unsuccessful as it is unsupported, why would it be unsupported I have service?

The iPhone does not support Bluetooth pairing with a Mac or any computer except for personal hotspot. You should be able to pair when using personal hotspot assuming that your cellular plan allows personal hotspot. The following support articles may have something that will help:
