Open PowerPoint when QuickTime Player is paused and Close Quicktime Player using AppleScript

Hey guys,

I'm new in scripting with Mac OSX, but I would try something out.

So I hope you can help me.

For a presentation I want to play an intro. This should be done by a script which starts with a certain video and opens PowerPoint after pausing the video.

During the presentation I also want to show a little movie, for this I need a script which plays a certain video and close QuickTime Player again immediately after it's finished.

Thanks in Advanced,

nemram
